Thomas William Thacker (aka “Brown Tom”) (born 11 April 1978, in Langley, BC, Canada) is the lead singer and guitarist of the Canadian punk group Gob. He is currently also Sum 41’s touring guitarist/keyboardist/backing vocalist.

Thacker is the vocalist and one of two guitarists in the punk rock band Gob. He formed the band with Theo Goutzinakis, Wolfman Pat Integrity on drums, and Kelly Macaulay on bass. They released their debut, Self-Titled in 1994. Since signing a deal with Nettwerk and EMI, the band has released five studio albums. The current bassist and drummer, Steven and Gabe, joined the band after the band went through several other bassists. He uses Gibson SG, a PRS McCarty and a Gibson Les Paul.

Thacker is currently also Sum 41’s touring guitarist. With Sum 41, he generally plays a Gibson Les Paul, which was a gift from Deryck upon him helping the band. He also plays the keyboard for Sum 41, as well as being a backing vocalist.

Thacker formed Gob with Theo Goutzinakis in 1994.
